Changing URLs of documents and PDFs

I’ve been placing PDFs into a documents library and then dragging a download widget into a page, then assigning that widget to display documents from a particular library.   So far so good.

But when the PDFs appear in the browser, I am not liking the URLs.

They appear as

site.com/docs/default-source/group-documents/money-group/one.pdf?sfvrsn=6

Is there a way to get rid of "default-source" and ?sfvrsn=6  when they appear in all my URLs?

 Thank you

Hello,

Please refer to the following KB article where you will find further information for the provider URL name. The "?sfvrsn=x" shows how many time a file was edited. This can be done from the advanced settings for libraries, just remove the value in UrlVersionQueryParameter and save. After you restart the site, it will no longer be present. To verify if the sfvrsn is not present, please, check the embed link for the document in the library directly.
