Search result widget always returning 0 search result

Hi,

We need to have site search functionality in our project.
We tried this functionality by using sitefinity Search-Widget and search result widget.
- Created one search index
- Created one page containing search box control and specified the above Created index name and search result widget in the same page. 

Followed instructions in this link : docs.sitefinity.com/search-widget

 Search is always returning zero search results. 

Is here any known issue with search widget and search result widget.

Hello,

If you have created the index after you have published your items, you must reindex.
You can do this on Search indexes page, by clicking the Actions link of the index and then clicking Reindex.
