Show custom user control under Administration as a Tool - Sitefinity - Front- & Back-End Development

Hi,

I have created a custom user control. I want to show this under Administration tab as a Tool. I tried to do this by inheriting the class with ITool interface. I found that to use ITool, namespace Telerik.Framework is required but I didn't find the Telerik.Framework.dll in the solution's bin folder.

I am following this

www.sitefinity.com/.../extend-admin-section

How can I show the control as a Tool under Administation tab or create a Tool? The version of sitefinity I am using is 4.3.1885.0

Kindly help me to figure it out.

Hi,

You can create a new backend page from Administration -> Backend pages. You can set it under the Administration group page. In the page you can drop your custom control.
