Change the URL for a Dynamic Module

Hi, trying to change the URL that is generated from a Dynamic Module with no success. Currently the URL is........ /detail/StockNumber but we need to change it from stock number to make/model/year  for SEO purposes . I am pretty sure the developer before me didn't use custom provider to override the default behavior but not sure how else the URL can be set and how we can change it.

New to Sitefinity development and any help is appreciated. There might be some easy settings similar to Wordpress to change the URL but haven't been able to find it.

Thanks,

Hello,

There is a setting only for the built-in single content type modules. The only way to change the URL format for dynamic modules is by using a custom provider. Refer to the following documentation article for more information: http://docs.sitefinity.com/for-developers-change-the-url-format-of-hierarchical-dynamic-modules
