White screen of death

We have a website running on server. I need same to be run on my local so i downloaded all the files and database. i changed the database connection string values under configurations folder. But when i open the website i am getting a blank page. I tried the following ways..

a) Tried to replace web.config with another fresh installation of sitefinity.
b) Comment out one by one line in web.config file

No use with above actions. I enabled error logging as well , No errors found in logs folder. Can anybody help me to resolve this?

Did you figure this out? We have an issue with white screens for the root and the Sitefinity admin page after publishing to Azure Web App. Works fine locally, but nothing but white screens in production.
