Localization of backend

It seems you can do your localization of the backend in 4.0 directly. Here are some questions.

a) is telerik planning to have some extra languages available out of the box
    - german (germany, switzerland, austria)
    - spanisch (lots of south america, spain and miami :-))
    - italian
    - french (france, africa)

b) if not is there a way to export inmport localizatino (I sure don't want to do it for every project)

c) will it be possible to switch backend language. Have english and german and let the client choose?

Regards Markus

PS: if the price is higher telerik might consider spending some money on question a) to get a broader user base.

Hi Markus Berchtold,

Most probably we will have some language packs included with the official version of 4.0 - German, Spanish - Spain, French.

There will be an option to export and import the language pack from one website to another

This will be possible ( it does not work properly in the CTP) from User's Policy that can be set through Settings >> Configuration >> "Select another Policy"

Kind regards,
Ivan Dimitrov
the Telerik team
