Flash player - Sitefinity - General Discussions

Hi Sitefinity,

I was using Windows media player to play the videos but now Client is asking for the flash player since it is lightweight component.

I have downloaded many flash player but none of player plays with the file extension(sflb.ashx).

Note:I also uploded files like .swf,wmv.

if possible send me the flash player control.

Please help me to sort out this issue.

Hello ravi shankar,

You could wrap your movies in GenericContent control which supports swf files. You may also use the files with their real extension - How to use the real extensions for the items in the Images and Documents module
and How to filter the default ContentHttpHandler by extension.

We do not change the mimey type although the extension is different, so you should be able to use any other flash js player like swfobject
