With the WebMatrix stuff going live SQL CE seems to be back in style again. Will the beta support SQL CE?

Hello ColinBowern,

We have plans to support SQL Compact and all other supported database by OpenAccess.
Since SQL Compact does not require installation we are considering it as a default option when you create a new project through Sitefinity's Project Manager.

I was wondering is at already possible to use SQL CE with 4.1, because the documentation does not mention it.

Hello Evert,

SQL Server Compact shares a common API with the Microsoft SQL Server editions., but we have not tested it and we cannot guarantee that there wouldn't be issues.
