The Supported Browsers list is missing Safari. According to StatCounter, as of March 2011 Safari has an 11% U.S. browser market share (slightly less than Chrome's 14%) and iOS/Safari has a 39% U.S. mobile OS market share (the largest mobile OS share) in the rapidly growing mobile market.

Does Telerik plan to officially support Safari for Sitefinity as they do for RadControls? If so, when? Will both the desktop and the mobile versions of Safari be supported?

Thanks,

Mike

Hello Mike,

Yes we plan to support Safari. I really hope this to happen soon, but we are working in this direction.

Hello,

Safari is not among the supported browsers by Sitefinity. The supported browsers are:

  • Internet Explorer 8, 9, 10
  • Firefox 3.6+
  • Chrome 8+
Here is a link to our official system requirements page available in our Sitefinity documentation.

Hi Support,

Is the Sitefinity 7.1 support the Safari browser 9.0 above ? The type of content under content features is not working probably. When trying to create a new post in a features, it is not able to insert test, back to pages and it show the error message in the inspect element  console with ' typerror: null is not an object (evaluating 'b.constructor). The news features , event features, blog features all is working fine.

Please advice, thank you.
