Hi,

How to use the "SkinID" and "CssClass" property that is available to controls like blog post as it's required to have diff look and feel for the same control in diff pages

Hello siby,

CssClass property adds class to the div that wraps the control. You should have the same CssClass in your theme.

SkinID - this property is valid for controls like RadMenu,RadTreeView etc that expose SkinID property. Since a Theme can contain multiple skin files, you might divide up named skins into separate files, where each skin file contained multiple control definitions with the same SkinID.

Hi,

Thankz for the reply. But does
"You should have the same CssClass in your theme" means that  need to set "skinid" property also along with the
"CssClass" property, or can have a theme under App_Themes with only some css description(like to do html way of styling other than any .skin files) and will use that folder name(under App_Themes) under App_Themes as the "CssClass" property.

Hello siby,

You could have only stylesheet in your theme. It is not necessary to have skin file. I suggest that you should take a look at Designer's Guide where we have described how you can style Sitefinity.
