Session State Issue

Running into this error...

Session state can only be used when enableSessionState is set to true, either in a configuration file or in the Page directive. Please also make sure that System.Web.SessionStateModule or a custom session state module is included in the <configuration>\<system.web>\<httpModules> section in the application configuration.

Tried to explicitly turn on Session state, move it to In Process and SQL Server. Tried both with cookies and cookieless.

Any ideas ?

Thanks
Abhijit

This still seems to be a problem with the beta 2. Any update?

Hello,

The issue has not been fixed for the BETA 2 release. The fix requires some general changes in our code and as we promised we will do this for the RC.

Hello,

I am getting this same error in the RC. I tried setting the enableSessionState as true in the web.config and still have the same problem. Any suggestions as to what I should do to resolve this?

Thanks,
John

Hi John,

We are planning to have a feature complete distribution (session state implementation included) by 17 December. So, you will be able to use this feature sooner than you expected.

Once out, it will be announced in our forum here:
www.sitefinity.com/.../general-discussions.aspx

We apologize for the delay in our plans.

Sincerely yours,
Kalina
