Events and Documents questions

We are trying to use the Events content type for a Calendar of Events on our site.  However, the individual events are not retaining the Event Start and Event End date or time.  We have tried to save the event with the correct date and time, but the event displays the wrong date when published.  For example, in the UI we stored the Event Start as 09/30/2010 at 6:00pm and the Event End as 09/30/2010 at 9:00pm.  When we viewed the webpage that has our events, this event displayed as “30 Sept – 01 Oct, 2010.”  Is there a way to correct this?

We are also encountering an error when trying to navigate to the Documents page in the SItefinity UI.  The first time we went to this page, we successfully added a library and uploaded one document to that library.  However, since we uploaded that document we can no longer access the Documents page.  We get an error that reads:

Message: 'Extension' is null or not an object

Line: 1

Char: 12422

Code: 0

URI: http://localhost/icce/ScriptResource.axd?d=nyvQUE2H_M01AWbG0nm8nJsHbl9mSQAuYDHLlseZj3Srft8F-O3jDP4ABqKw8coL-OzLK6z_sxSU0Mq07w1M1VmMcRRdorHXhs3SbtlsPkoYbMev3D1NjbldZYzXfMXx0&t=ffffffff9d3720e7

Is there a way to get around this?

Thank you,
Ann

Hi Ann,

There is a problem with the date format in Sitefinity BETA that we fixed recently and I suppose that the first issue is related to this bug.

The second issue is is a js error that comes from a response, but it is hard to say what the actual issues is. Most probably you have entered some data to the library which has broken our web service response. I suggest that you should try to reproduce the same issue on a new installation following the same steps as before. If you reproduce the issue please tell these steps. We are also interested to get access to the broken project database and set it up locally in case the issue encounters again. This will allow us to see what exactly is going wrong. To submit the database you can open bug report where we allow attachments up to 20 mb.
