Finding Categories - Sitefinity - General Discussions

I am wanting to sort my Content Items by category. After searching your website, I found the following page:
www.sitefinity.com/.../categories-get.html
This code for Sitefinity CMS is exactly what I need, but that functionality doesn't seem to exist in 4.0 yet. Is there any other way to sort by category in 4.0?

Hello Ann,

Thank you for using our services.

This code would not work on Sitefinity 4.0, this for Sitefinity 3.x version. We have new implementation of classifications such as tags and categories. For more information on this you can take a look at Taxonomies. The categories are represented by Hierarchical Taxonomy. You can find taxonomies using code from this article.
