Will version 4 allow nested or child libraries?

I would like to have a library for one department, however have smaller libraries inside of it for specific categories or divisions.

Right now I seem to only be able to create all libraries at the parent level.

Hello Anthony,

Nested libraries are not supported in BETA 2. We will have this functionality in one of the minor versions of Sitefinity 4.

Did this functionality ever get implemented? I have a requirement to be able to create child libraries.

Nope, wishlist item for just about everyone using libraries...that and sorting

If they won't do it I hope they have at least the decency to sort the libraries alphabeically.

I have a site with about two hundered image libraries and have not figures out yet how they are sorted. Realy not very high on the usability scale.
