Publication date wrong within Sitefinity
Hi,
I have run into an issue in relation to publication dates being wrong for new items created when logged into Sitefinity, eg if I set the publication date to 10/11/2010 when it is saved in the list it appears as 10/10/2010. However the publication date appears correct on the website. Is this a known bug ?
Hello Vanessa,
We changed all dates to UTC which converts the current local time to coordinated universal time (UTC). We are going to release RC where you should not see this issue.

Thank you for the prompt response.
Vanessa
Hello, is it possible you could elaborate on what you mean by "going to release RC" as I am having the same problem.
Hi Ravi,
Please check which version of Sitefinity you use. The issue should not persist in Sitefinity Sitefinity 4.0 RC 4.0.992.0

Hi Ivan,
I am using Sitefinity Community Edition 3.7. Is there a patch that I can install to solve this problem, or would I have to upgrade the entire CMS?
Hello Ravi,
This is the forum thread for Sitefinity 4.0. Please use the proper thread for 3.x related questions. I suggest that you should upgrade to Sitefinity 3.7 SP4 and if you still have some issues, please start a new discussion with some description of the issue you have.

Is there a patch from 4.0.0.0 to 4.0.992.0? Or do we need to upgrade to the 4.1 release to get this fix?
Hi Liz,
The official release of Sitefinity is build version 1098. You can upgrade to Sitefinity SP1 which is build version 1210.
So the RC is an old version and you should upgrade to 1098 and then to SP1.
