Sitefinity 4.0 extraction issue

I recently downloaded the Beta, played with it some, but shipped with no themes, so not sure how it might look "put together".  So naturally with RC out, wanted to download and see that.  'Cept in install I am getting a "Chainer" error, and it aborts install.  So a little frustrating.

All I really want is the themes to install into my running/working beta version, so I can complete my eval of the product for purchase....but I'd take a good install of RC as well!

Hi Tim Lux,

Could you please try to download the Project Manager from your account? We will appreciate if you can show us the error, or provide us with the exact error message. Thank you in advance for that.

We will have startup kit themes and site templates with the official release.

All the best,
Georgi

I have downloaded theproject manager, and that does allow me in, but the install error remains:

Error: "Chainer has encountered a problem and needs to close."

Entries from the install log, where the errors begin.  Almost at the end of the install.

Hi Tim Lux,

Thank you for using our services.

Can you please check which version of the Windows Installer runtime you have on your machine? You can check this if you run msiexec.exe as in attached image. Please note that you must be running at least Windows Installer 4.5. You can download the redistributable for your OS from here: Windows Installer 4.5 Redistributable.

Hello Tim Lux,

Thank you for getting back to us.

Can you please let us know what OS are you running on? Also when running the install can you try pointing it to a different location than the default one?

Kind regards,
