Doc Article for Template images?

I might be missing it...but I can't seem to find the article (assuming there is one) on how to use a Custom image for my Custom Templates (my own masterpages)

Does this functionality exist yet by any chance?

...can we make the for widgets and things too?

Hello Steve,

The only way to have a custom image for a custom template is working programmatically. You can take a look at Thumbnail images for Custom Templates
