Manual Update from RC907 to RC910? - Sitefinity - General Discussions

Hello,

I created a project using the initial RC release (907), and copied it away to another folder so it's not under Sitefinity Project Manager any more. How do I go about upgrade it? Do I have to start over?

Hi Bill Y,

Thank you for using our services.

You can go to the directory where your Project Manager is located and open the Projects.xml file in Note pad. Then find the entry for your project and in the <Location> element edit the LocalPath and Url properties to new path of your project. Then take the new project manager (the one for build 910) and replace the old one. When you open it you will be able to use the Upgrade button for your project.
