Migrate UserControls from 3.7 to 4 - Sitefinity - General Discussions

Hi There,

I've been trying out the migration tool with varying success. One of the issues with migrating pages seems to be the use of usercontrols that was registered in the toolbox in 3.7 on the pages. How would we migrate those usercontrols to 4.0?

Hi Jean,

The tool on codeplex cannot migrate your controls. Currently the only way is to recreate them manually

Create a widget in Sitefinity 4.0
