or if they are available already, were does one find them?

Instead of re-inventing the wheel and re-creating all the layout templates from scratch it would be nice to start building a complete Theme (with layout templates) based on the built in templates. These templates were always a separate download for SF3.x, will it be the same way for SF4? Are there plans to release them before the final release so we can start digging into it or will it be some unknown date after the release?

Hello Phill,

The templates are not available as a separate download, but you can get all of them through "Reflector". We have not tested all possible mappings, although I have not experienced any issues with the mapping.

Our idea ( after the official release ) is to provide UI from where you can edit all embedded templates in similar way that you can currently change some of the Widget Templates in Sitefinity.
