Home url error
Hi,
After the upgrade to the 03-12 release i star to receive an erro if i click in may top navigation in the link "Home".
If i browse to htttp://test.domain.pt my homepage shows without problem. But if i put htttp://test.domain.pt/home it appears the page not found error.
I tested to in the backend (see attached images), if i click in the "View" option of my "home" page the error appears too.
Hi JV,
Can you try to edit your home page and publish it again.

Hi,
I did it but the problem doesn't disappear.
Hello JV,
1. Are you getting this error only for the home page or for each other page?
2. If you switch the language and click view can you see the page ?
3.Can you attach some screenshots with the url generated when the error is thrown.

Hi,
1 - if i navigate to http://domain/home i get the error, if i navigate to http://domain o don't have the error. Home is my hompage, so i should navigate either by http://domain or by http://domain/home (portuguese homepage).
2 - if i click http://domain and swith language i see the english homepage. If i click http://domain/en/home it throws the error.
3 - the error you can see in the sc_2.gif and the generated url is http://domain/home
Hello JV,
The issue should not persist in Sitefinity RC 2. If you find some issues, please write back to me.

The issue persists. I made the upgrade using the projecto manager. The Database is the same.
Hello JV,
Can you please let us know which localization strategy you are using? Is it the domain name mode or directory name mode?

I'm using " Directories". Please see attach.
Hi JV,
Thank you for the clarification. We have reproduced the issue and logged it as a bug (#103547). You can try a workaround - make the pages have different names in both lanuages. For example in Portuguese the page would be <domain>/origem and in English it would be <domain>/en/home.
