RC licence limitations - Sitefinity - General Discussions

Hi,

we are testing the Sitefinity RC and the weekly builds.
We thought, the final product comes out earlier.
We want to buy the 4.0, so we first have to buy the 3.7 and then will get the free upgrade to the final 4.0.

But we have to release our website on 01.01.2011 and we have designed it with 4.0 RC.
Can we go online with the RC without licence limitations till we upgrade to the final version when it becomes available?

Hi Frank,

You'll want official confirmation on this from Telerik, but I was told by a sales rep that if you need to go live with a SF 4.0 site before the official launch date of the product they can issue a release (not trial) key for your SF 4 install. This does have to be done manually so you'll have to contact them via email/phone to get this key issued. The important thing is that it is possible.
