Support for SQL Server 2000

Will the release version of Sitefinity 4.0 support SQL server 2000? The documentation for RC lists only SQL server 2005 and 2008, but not 2000. Can someone confirm, please?

Currently we support only SQL Server 2008 and 2005.

is there a firm plan to support SQL server 2000? If yes, when can this support be expected?

Hi Hachim,

Support for SQL Server 2000 will be supported after we upgrade the mapping to OpenAccess ORM in Q1 ending in March.
At that time we will add support the databases supported by OpenAccess automatically.
