Hi,

Not sure if this is the best place to ask this question but we've encountered some major problems at this Weekend's GiveCamp for hosting Sitefinity in Shared Hosting Environment.

Also, we've tried to buy a Virtual Private Server on GoDaddy to host few sites and it worked for 15 mins and crashed all the websites...

Sitefinity 4.0 has some major issues if multiple websites are hosted and being developed on the same server.

Right now, our website is developed in Sitefinity 4.0 at the GiveCamp and it's waiting to be pushed to the Shared Hosting Enviroment on Verio or Discount ASP and it can't happen until these issues are fixed.

Is there are timeline on when will this be fixed?

As far as I know, atleast three applications are waiting to go live and can't do so without these fixes.

Hi,

We've reached the conclusion that these crashes are caused by the memory usage on the shared hostings. We are currently working with some shared hosting providers, and in the team as well, on overcoming this problem.

We will update you on this shortly.
