Divided Navigaion - StartingNodeOffset

We are setting up a Sitefinity 4 website for a client.  They have a requirement for a divided navigation.  We placed one navigation control in the Template header set to "Top Level Pages."

We were expecting a simple operation of adding a second navigation control to the left column and specifying Child-Only links.  In Sitefinity 3 we would have specified a StartingNodeOffset of 1.

After reading through the documentation, I don't see any way to do this.  The only option I see is to create a "Based on" Template and manually choose "All pages under particular page" for each section of the site.  Is that really how it has to be done, or is there a better way?  We would prefer to only have one Template smart enough to work for all of the interior pages.

Thanks!

Hi danfinney,

Unfortunately there is no direct way to do this. However, You can manually choose "All pages under particular page" for each section of the site or You can extend navigation control and add this logic.
