Search Index - Starting node to index

Hi,

I couldn't find the "Starting node to index" property in the UI of Sitefinity 4.0, is
there some other way to have an index like in 3.7 ?

My goal is to have an index that only looks at all the pages under ~/help/ so that people can search
the helpfiles (help pages).

Regards,

  Peter

Hello j8,

At this stage the PagePipe  includes all pages. We are going to implement designers that will allow you to choose the starting node. The task ID 106057 is and its current status is not done.

Ivan,

What is the status on this? It's been more than 2 years ! Is it coming anytime soon?

Thanks,

G

Hello George,

Currently we do not have this option present in the product, however in order to address the demand for it we're going to log a task for documenting how you can extend the current functionality to achieve the desired effect.

Please keep in touch as we'll announce the article/blog post in our latest online resources posts.
