Hi guys,

I'm trying to change the alt tag of the image my client used for his logo but I can't seem to find where to look for it. The image is located under Files -> App_Themes folder -> Default folder -> Images ->Home_logo.png. I tried right click but only see the options rename, delete, and copy. Look around the page there might be some prorperties I can set but got no one. It would be appreciated if someone could tell me where to add or edit the alt tag of that image. I'm just a beginner in this CMS.

Hello Richard,

There is no public property for the alt text. The alt text is automatically set if the image is uploaded to Images module, otherwise we generate an empty alt tag.

Hi Ivan,

Thanks for the quick reply I really appreciate it. I tried to upload an image on the same path I just mentioned but there's no options where I can edit the alt tags. It just say that I've successfully uploaded the image. Hope I could attached the screenshot so you could see it as well. =)

Thanks,
Richard

Hello Richard,

You can set "alt"  tag if the image is uploaded to Images module.
