Is it possible to set role permissions such that the users will be able to create child pages only under certain existing pages? That is, they can only create child pages under certain pages but not be able to create top level pages or child pages under other existing pages.

Hello Thomas,

Thank you for bringing this up. We've discovered a bug in the current implementation, which prevents checking permissions for Creating pages. It was logged for fixing (task ID 107341). We'll fix it for the upcoming release and then you should be able to achieve the described functionality.
