Hi there

My provider seems to have standard Enable Integrated Windows Authentification enabled.

Now when you have Allow Anonymous Access set as well you will get an error.

I assume the Allow Anonymous Access is correct.

Can you tell me what would happen if I choose Enable Basic Authentification instead?

Or better when I would choose Basic Authentification for what purposes?

Hello Markus Berchtold,

Please make sure that you have the windows authentication setting disabled. You should not use the Basic Authentication scheme also. If you cannot do it from your control panel, please contact your hosting provider so that they disable Windows Authentication and that you only have Anonymous and Forms Authentication enabled.
