create login page

I should just create one long post with all of my questions. :)

Is it possible to create a custom login page? Meaning, when my users want to add content to their site (blogs, news, etc) I want them to type http://mysite/login and I then want them to see a login page that is branded for their company.

How can I accomplish this? When I try to create a  new page and drop the login widget on it I get 'login control cannot be displayed in design mode'

I figured it out, I did't realize you had to publish your new page for it to work.
DOH!

however, it keeps looping me back to the login page, I enter in my id and pwd, I get the message:

Someone is already using this username and password from another computer or browser.
To proceed, you need to log him/her off.

I click [log the other person off] and then it takes me back the login page, and it just keeps doing that, how can I redirect the user to the backend so modify content once they are logged in?

Did you find a solution to this question?

You'll need to go into the advanced settings for you login widget and change a few settings:

DestinationPageURL  -  ex: ~/login-access-only
LoginAction: Redirect

Thanks - do I need to use the '~' in front of the "/"? What's it do?
