Sharing Site Admin users between SF sites

Hi,

I have a client with multiple sites (15-20) totally different but obviously the CMS admin people are the same but the content editors are different. Is there a way I can share admin users between the sites so that users, passwords etc are the same?

The one thing I could think of is have 1 x membership db's and seperate db for each of the sites, but not sure how to implement this.

Do I need to make changes to the web.config. I know I need to make some changes to the config files not sure what all i need to make change to. Guidance here will be appreciated.

Any considerations I need to make or potential problems when this is implemented?

Thanks
Madhavan

Hi Ivan,

I was able to find this and make it work. But I encountered another issue. The issue is when I login to Site A and then login to Site B, I am forced to log off of site A. Is there a way to over come this and let the users to login multiple sites with this single db approach for membership.

Thanks
Madhavan
