Why have you guys made the 4.0 licencing so complicated?

Our current licensing model is a result of a long research process we've been conducting together with our customers. Therby we tried to keep the complexity to a minimum, while achieving a greater flexibility. I agree, that the 3.x license model was simple, but the flexibility and scalability of this model were very limited. With the new model Sitefinity can fully serve the needs of projects of all sizes.

We encourage you to share your opinion and suggestions for the further improvement of our pricing and licensing scheme with us. We appreciate any kind of feedback!
