Admin pages recieve 404 error (.svc error)

I am using IIS 6.0 on Windows Server 2003. I have .Net Framework 4.0 installed. I have added the .svc extension mapping and pointed it to the 4.0 aspnet_isapi.dll. But, whenever I go to the Pages admin section I get multiple popup stating 404 resource not found. When I go directly to the Pages .svc I also get this error. I have searched on this forum and tried everything, but nothing works. Getting frustrated. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I have been able to fix this problem. It seems that our server had URLScan installed, which was not set to allow dots in the path. After modifying the urlscan.ini file and iisreset all is good!

Sitefinity: You should add this to your setup instructions for Sitefinity 4 on IIS6
