Hello,

Sitefinity 3.x authenticated users with FormsAuthentication cookie and it was easy to set timeout for persistent cookie in web.config.

I wonder if there is a way to extend timeout for SFAUTH and SFROLES persistent cookies in Sitefinity 4.0. Currently it's set by default to 2 hr and 30 min respectively.

Appreciate any help.

Hi,

You can do this from Sitefinity/Administration/Settings/Advanced and then navigate to Security node.
