ContentPlaceholder Q - Sitefinity - General Discussions

Hey,

Just started using 4.0 looks good.

Have a quick question about templates, in the 3.X version the ID of the contentplaceholder added to the .master would display when in edit mode of a page. I've noticed with 4.0 that there is no label to indicate which box is which.

Is there an extra variable I can add to the contentplaceholder or is this the way it works.

the attcached has an ID of title resulting in the box having a nice label title.

Hi Kieran,

We know about this behavior and this is something that we have to implement. There is a task logged in our system . We are going to review the tasks for the next Q, so we will try to implement labels that show the name.

Hi Ivan, any update on this issue? We would definitely like to see labels listed. Our master pages typically have 6-10 contentPlaceHolders per page and it can be confusing to general users (as well as developers) when adding content.
