Telerik.Search.dll

Hi

I have migrated my website from Sitefinty3.7 to Sitefinity4.0, but Telerik Search control on my site is not working.
I want latest dll of Telerik.Search.dll (Sitefintiy4.0 compatible).

Please tell me from where I can download latest Telerik dlls for Sitefinty4.0.
It’s neither in my project root folder (bin) nor in C:\Program Files (x86)\telerik\Sitefinity 4.0\..

Sitefinity 4.0 has its own SearchBox and Search result controls that you can use. Both the controls are part of
Telerik.Sitefinity.dll, namespace Telerik.Sitefinity.Web.UI

Following are the Steps which i followd  to Implement Global Search

1) Created page with content blocks, blogs and News. ( SearchContent Page)
2) Added Search Widget to Pages.
3) Created SearchResult Page where Search Result Widget is added
4) Created Global Search search index ( global search index.png )
5) Configured search and search results widgets to use the index


after fllowing all the above steps Still im not able to get proper result ...

The instruction User Guide will work for both versions 4.0, 4.1.

I have also followed all the steps that you listed below, one thing you can try. Try to reindex the Search index, if that dont works then it may be possible that there is some corrupted dll in your bin folder, that was in my case.
