Cookies and serving content

Hi All,

Inside SiteFinity websites, has anyone use cookies to somehow capture what visitors are interested in in order to serve related content immediately on subsequent pages as they navigate through the site?

Is this something that SiteFinity helps manage? Can the analytics included in SF4 be automatically used for that purpose?

Thanks,
Gregory

Hi gregory,

We do not have built-in logic that you can use out of the box. The analytics is just a reader of the google application and it is used mainly for statistics which I believe will help you to see the website traffic.

Okay, no built-in logic...at the moment. Is this something that Telerik has thought about implementing? Or, would you know if any your partners has already done something of the sort?

I searched through your forums, blogs, and knowledge base, but I couldn't find any information on the topic.

Thanks for your response.

Hi gregory,

I haven't heard about someone that has pluggable solution. I will log your request and we will review it on the next planning for Q2 or Q3.

All the best,
