licence key is corrupted after upgrade

my licence key corrupted after upgrade, and when i try and re upload it i keep getting the error Wrong product version .  This is a 4.0 licence and has been working.  I cant do any work on the site so can someone please help me.

The licenses are version specific, so you'll need to log into your account and download the license for version 4.1.

What?...well that's crappy :)  Gonna have to remember to do that from now on.  Guess it explains the trial message I was getting on a local licensed copy.
