integrating a 3.7 site with new site using version 4

We have an existing site in 3.7 and are building a new app. Due to the requirements, both apps must exist on the same site. We are wondering what would be the best method for doing this such as recreating the content from the existing site, just building the new app in 3.7, etc.

Hi James,

From your description i understand you want to create apps to show some contentent from an existing site to a new site that is possibly going to be Sitefinity 4.x. Please confirm if I have understood right.

You can upgrade from 3.7 to 4.0 using this tool and also refer to this instructions.
