multiple logons of same user at same time

Is it possible to allow multiple logons of the same user at the same time? Right now it seems like it forces you to logout the currently logged on user. We want to be able to give out a login to a group of users. We don't want to have to create a login for each user. The users are just visiting the site once so it doesn't make sense to give each of them a login. We just want to restrict access to certain content. How can this be accomplished?

Cheers.

Hi Brian,

You can set deny right for a given permission over the controls and layout elements that you want to hide. These users should not be backend users, because there is a limitation for the online accounts that you may have.

Hi Ivan,

Just a question on this one. We have installed a professional trial version of SF4 to run for a client. The team now needs to start adding content which requires more than one login at a time. I have double checked it's a professional version with 10 concurrent users.

Please see the attached image. Is there a limitation on the trial version too.

Cheers,
James

Hello James@Nw,

The trial  and licensed version of Professional edition support 10 users and you should be able to log in with them

Hi Ivan,

Ok, I think the answer is that you need to create multiple accounts. You cannot multiple log in with the same account.

Thanks,
James
