First Call takes very long

Hi

the first call to a sitefinity site takes very long (about 30 seconds) and sometimes fails with 404. Then it redirects my request to an index.aspx. but none exists and the default document doesn't contain entry for index.aspx

What can I do to reduce this "startup time" ?

The problem is simply when you do not get enough visitors. Otherwise the site should load pretty quickly (still there is a lot of initial traffic)

With my provider I can schedule tasks. I have one task running every n minutes to test if the site is running. This will simulate hopfully a visitor and does for me about the same as application warm-up which seems at the moment not to be available.
