Existing Pages Empty When Editing - Sitefinity - General Discussions

We are using 4.1
A bunch of pages are published with content.
But when we open them for editing, there is nothing in the page, all the placeholders from the template are empty.
They are not locked, and if we preview them from the editor they are empty, but if we view the live site, all the published content shows.

Does anyone know what's going on with this behavior?

Thank you for using our services.

Can you please let us know if there have been any changes in the page template used by those pages? Also can you please let us know if there are any special permission settings for editing those pages and their content?
