Hello there,

I have recently been trying to install a sitefinity website under my local iis 6 environment on a windows XP client machine.
What happens is that I AM able to log into sitefinity but as soon as I click one of the modules (pages content etc.) i receive a "Resource not found" error. It seems to be failing at the services located under a subdirectory of the Services directory. I am also not able to browse those services however I AM able to browse the SitefinityProject.svc
service which is directly (not in a subdirectory0 of the services directory.

When I check the logs I found this:

Hi Henk,

Do you have problems running the website through Visual Studio or our Project Manager?

Kind regards,

Ivan,

I seem to be able to access the services through the projectmanager just fine.

Hi Henk,

There the problem is somewhere in your IIS server or something blocks the request. You can use fildder or another tool to inspect the requests.
By the way PM uses Visual Studio web server implementation to run the project.

Hi Patrick,

What I would suggest you is to continue the conversation in the support ticket you have opened. Once the problem is resolved you could share the resolution of it with the community.
