Tags for specific Content Type

Hi,

Is it possible to define a set of Tags that can only be used for a specific content type (or even better, a specific library of a content type)?  In particular I would like to define a set of Tags that can be used with an image library/gallery, and not see any other Tags that may be in use elsewhere on the site.

The current version does not allow you to separate tags per type or based on permissions. We received several request about this and here is the PITS that you can follow/vote

There is a way to implement some kind of filtering, but you will need a custom filed that uses a custom control which binds only the data you want.
