Is there an admin setting to make pages the default page after login.

a) tried to rearange the pages in admin backendpages. Made Pages the first page
b) set Pages page as homepage in admin backend pages.

Both did not have any effect when loogin in I get the Dashboard as start page. Which is at the moment not really helpfull.

Hello Markus ,

We have not implemented personalization yet and setting other default backend login page requires to replace the backend login control which has been discussed here.

Dear Ivan

Thanks for the feedback. Once the dashboard has some information like, pages waiting for approval and stuff then it will be usefull.

Untill then I think most will use pages as default and would have thought that setting the homepage for backendpage would take care of that.

So I assume that you are hardcoding it to load the dashboard. Would there be any chance to an

if  sitefinity.backendpage.homepage is set then redirect there else load dashboard.

Hi Markus ,

You can put a simple user control on the Dashboar backend page and make Response.Redirect from there.
