Wiki moderation

Hi,

We have just set up a Wiki within our site (using Sitefinity 3.7) and it looks very good. However there appears to be no easy way for us to moderate amendments made under the "Edit" tab before amendments go live.

Furthermore it would seem that we would not even be notified when an amendment is made. So an amendment could be made without our authorisation, and even without our knowledge!

The problem appears to be the same for comments left under the "Comments" tab.

This seems surprising because under the permissions settings in the Wiki module there is a tick-box for delete/rollback.

Am I missing something here, or is the Wiki module not really moderation-friendly?

Thanks
Will

Hello Will,

You can try to subscribe for ContentManager.Executed and ContentManager.Executing static events in Application_Start of the Global.asax where you can check the provider and whether events like "CreateContent" or "CreateComment" are thrown, so you can send an email using SmtpClient class.

Best wishes,
