Forms module databound drop down list

I was examining the forms module, and I noticed you are unable to bind data to drop downs. I think this option would be useful. Are there any plans for implementing something like this. Is there any way to extend the class to support it?

Hi Ryan Dailey,

You can extend the forms module with more controls. Here is a tutorial on how to do it.

Hi There,

We just had to fork out $20000 for an enterprise license. For that kind of money I would expect this to be included as stock standard. Why should we write this?

It's unfortunate that we do not have this feature yet. It's on the plan for this module though.
