Select first child in navigation widget

Hello,

In our website we are using Sitefinity 4.1 SP2, we have a radmenu control in the top of the pages template to display the first level pages of the website.
In the left side bar of the template, we add the sitefinity Navigation widget to display the subpages of every top level page opened from the top menu, we select "tree" type of the navigation widget and select "expand all levels initially" option.

So, if we click on one of the top level pages, it opens the first subpage but it is not hightlighted.
Is there any way to make the first subpage highlighted from the left navigation widget? And if no, is there a workaround to be done to have the same result?

Check the attached image for a visual sample.

Thanks.

Hi Amrelsayed,

Can you please let us know whether the top level pages are actually group pages? The probelm is that currently a group page is redirecting to its first subpage, but the current page still remains the group page, that's why VT Difference doesn't get highlighted, since it's not the selected page. We have logged this issue for implementation, you can track its status and vote for it in PITS on this public URL. Please excuse us for the inconvenience this issue might be causing, as a workaround until we implement this functionality you can  convert the Architectural Wood Doors page to be a redirect page, not a group page, and set it to redirect to VT Difference.

Kind regards,
