After doing some testing it seems like large PDF files that have been enabled with "Fast Web View" (the ability for the user to see the first page and subsequent pages as the others are downloading) will not work if the file is in the library.

Is the only option to keep these files outside of the libraries?

Hello Sacparker,

I suppose this has something to do with our settings for the chunk size of binary files. How bug must be a PDF to reproduce that? Unfortunately I'm fairly sure that the answer to your question is - yes, you must put the file outside a library.

Will this be rectified in a new release.  We just spent days trouble shooting this exact issue and it comes down to Sitefinity itself.  This is really unacceptable in a product designed to mange documents and content.

Hi Grant,

Is that behaviour observed on both providers - Database and File System storage providers?

Do you have the same issue when the file is place not in Library but on the File system directly (e.g. dedicated folder in the root of your project)?
