Personal Picture Library of Users

Like in a social network website, I need to allow website users to upload any number of pictures into their user account, along with description, and determine which picture is their default profile picture.

Is there an easy way to do this in SF 4.2? I am grateful for an example.

You can add Image fields to the default Basic profile - currently by default there is one field and it is named Avatar. The only problem is that these are not multiple image fields - you can upload only one image. So one solution is to add, e.g. 10 fields, and let the users pick how many they want. Unfortunately currently there is no way to add a dynamic number of images to a profile.
